# Sound Latency Test > Compare an acoustic speaker-to-microphone round trip or inspect browser-reported audio timing estimates. Sound Latency Test helps investigate audio delay with two separately labelled methods. Acoustic mode plays a short chirp and detects its return through a microphone. Browser-reported mode shows available processing and output estimates without a microphone. Users can label an audio path, save comparison A, compare a second setup, and export numerical results as CSV. Acoustic results include the output, air path and input capture, so a consistent physical setup matters when comparing devices. Musicians, streamers and listeners comparing audio paths under consistent conditions. Acoustic round-trip timing does not isolate Bluetooth codec latency or one-way output delay. ## Website - [Sound Latency Test](https://soundlatencytest.com/): Main browser tool. ## Information - [About](https://soundlatencytest.com/about/): About information published on this website. - [Privacy](https://soundlatencytest.com/privacy-policy/): Privacy information published on this website. - [Contact](https://soundlatencytest.com/contact/): Contact information published on this website.
