This audio stream is processed entirely within your browser, is never transmitted to any server, and is never stored in any form. Tool Accuracy and Limitations
The Sound Latency Test produces a round-trip audio latency estimate using browser-based cross-correlation analysis. The practical accuracy of a single test run is ±3–5 ms under typical consumer hardware and browser conditions. Averaging three or more runs improves accuracy to ±1–2 ms.
This tool is provided as a diagnostic and educational resource. It is not a certified measurement instrument. Results should not be used as the sole basis for any professional, contractual, regulatory, or safety-critical decision without independent professional verification.
